Fascination Project Planning

This week in class we started planning our fascination project. My group decided to create a crime mystery thriller movie. As we talked about what we wanted to accomplish with this project we knew that a murder would have to occur in our film. I immediately volunteered to be the victim in the film. Originally we thought the Pfieffer would be the ideal location for this film to occur. However, after countless tries, the building was always occupied by other classes and events. We discussed what other places on campus would be a perfect spot for a crime film.

Brooke, Anna, and I spend most of our days in Merner Fieldhouse. The building has countless locations that could fit well in a thriller. It is an old building that has many stories. We took advantage of the conference room located in the building. It contains many old photos, trophies, and overall an old look. We wanted to start with a scene that would introduce the viewers to the building itself. Therefore, we decided to have a video over the different components of the conference room.

The overall plot of the film includes the murder of a coach on campus. The body is discovered by two of the coach's players. A detective is immediately contacted, and the investigation is underway.
